Bank Of America Reports Mixed Results (BAC)

4-19-12-Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) reported Q1 EPS of $0.31, beating estimates of $0.12.
Revenues in the quarter fell 10% year-over-year to $22.5 billion, missing estimates by $500 million.
Bank of America Corporation accepts deposits and offers banking, investing, asset management, and other financial and risk-management products and services. The Company has a mortgage lending subsidiary, and an investment banking and securities brokerage subsidiary.

Morgan Stanley Tops Estimates

4-19-12-Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) reported Q1 EPS of $0.71, ex-DVA, vs. estimates of $0.44.
The bank reported total net revenues of $8.9 billion, vs. estimates of $7.94 billion.
The company reported tier 1 common of 13.2% vs. 13.0% QoQ.
The company is set to hold its conference call at 10 AM EST.

Bank Of America Revenues Rise 11%, Shares Rally Premarket

Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) reported Q4 EPS of $0.15, may not be comparable to estimates for $0.13. Bank of America’s revenue, net of interest expense on a FTE basis, rose 11% to $25.1 billion. Chief Executive Officer Brian Moynihan said, “We enter 2012 stronger and more efficient after two years of simplifying and streamlining our company. We built our capital ratios to record levels during 2011 on the strength of our core businesses and by shedding those that are not core to serving customers and clients. I am proud of our team and their ability to serve our customers well while transforming the company.” Shares of Bank of America are trading 6.6% higher premarket, to $7.25.

San Francisco accounting firm Burr Pilger Mayer Inc. said Thursday it agreed to buy the San Jose accounting and tax operations of Cleveland-based CBIZ Inc.
